Responsibilities: Creating assembles from rushes as requested by Producers & Editors; General assist duties: Media Management; Ingest of tape and tapeless media; imports / file conversion, Q.C.s, play outs, exports.

EDIT ASSISTANT – 'Made in Chelsea – Series 3' Channel 4 / Monkey Kingdom [Feb – Aug 2012]
Responsibilities: Included: Editing development taster tapes; Avid support (6 x Avid Offline suites) - Ingest (including CF / P2 cards); media management (Edit Share); play outs, exports, back up to LTO.

EDITOR / EDIT ASSISTANT – Fever Media ('71 Degrees North'; 'Remembrance Week')[Aug – Nov 2011]
Responsibilities: Included: Editing all Development taster tapes; Avid support (3 x Avid Offline suites) - Ingest (including CF / P2 cards); media management (Edit Share); playouts, exports, Editing webclips and exporting / uploading to youtube account.

EDIT ASSISTANT – ‘Casualty’ BBC1 [May-Aug 2011]
Responsibilities: Included: ingest of DigiBeta rushes / P2 media then syncing with audio; playouts to DVD and DigiBeta (including QCs); Avid Unity media management; exporting OMFIs and EDLs; Editing ‘Web clips’ and ‘Web Trailers’ and uploaded them to BBCi Player.

OFFLINE EDITOR – ‘Bargain Hunt’ BBC 1 (Director: Gareth Luxton) [March-April 2011]
Responsibilities: Cut 2 episodes of this fast turnaround daytime programme featuring members of the public buying antiques and selling them on at auction.

EDITOR – Updates & Fixes (A Place in the Sun) – Salmon Video / Channel 4 [Dec 2009]
Fixes and updates for over thirty shows for repeat broadcasts including the correction of a number of technical issues: titles out of safe; synchronisation problems, re-cutting / replacing scenes, and finally playing back to tape and correcting time sheets for delivery to Channel 4.

OFFLINE EDITOR – ‘A Place in the Sun - Home or Away’ series 5 – Freeform / Channel 4 [Sept 2008 – Jan 2009]
Responsibilities: Cutting inserts and covering for absent Editors on the primetime property programme featuring members of the public being helped through the journey towards finding their perfect property.

EDITOR - Freeform Development Department / Channel 4 [May 2008 – April 2009]
Responsibilities: Cutting taster tapes for delivery to commissioning editors for programmes including ‘Gemma Factor’ – BBC3 comedy.

EDIT ASSISTANT – ‘A Place in the Sun Series 5, 6 & 7’ / ‘A Place in the Sun 'Home or Away' Series 3, 4 & 5’ / ‘A Place by the Sea Series 3 & 4’ / ‘Gene Detectives’ / ‘The Gemma Factor’ – Freeform / Channel 4 [March 2005 – Jan 2009]
Responsibilities: My roles included digitizing and sub-clipping rushes; Editing regular features; managing media and maintaining 7 Avid suites and 2 Pro Tools Dubbing suites.

MACHINE ROOM OPERATOR - Salmon Video (Post Production Facility) [May 2005 – Dec 2008]
Responsibilities: All machine room operations both HD and SD. Organization of digitizing, assistant editing, media management and backups. Efficient allocation of hardware where needed. Preparation of new edit suites and fault diagnosis. Summary: buffer zone between creative and technical.
